What stays on your device, what a Crew account stores, and how payments and ads work. As little of your data as we can get away with holding.

We’d rather not hold your information at all, so most of it stays on your own device and the rest is kept by companies whose actual job is looking after it. Here’s exactly what happens.
No account is needed to browse, and we run no analytics or fingerprinting. A few things are saved in your browser’s local storage so the site works: your Nuzlocke Tracker runs, box and graveyard, your chosen tracker theme, your Crew Arcade best scores (unless you turn on cloud sync in the Arcade — see below), and small preference flags. That data lives in your browser, is not sent to us, and clearing your browser data deletes it permanently. We have no copy — which also means we can’t restore it for you.
Crew membership uses Google Sign-In. When you sign in we receive and store your email address and display name, plus your membership tier and when it started. That’s the account, and is used only to recognise you and unlock your tier’s perks — never sold, never used for marketing.
Linking is optional. If you link Discord we securely store your Discord ID and username so the bot can give you your tier’s role in the server. If you link Twitch we store your Twitch ID and username, and — only while checking sub perks — whether you currently subscribe to the channel; that check is momentary and the result is kept no longer than 24 hours. Unlinking (in My Account on the Crew page) deletes those fields immediately, and unlinking Discord also removes your crew role from the server.
Paid tiers are billed by Stripe through Stripe’s own hosted checkout. Your card details never touch this website — we can’t see them and don’t want to. Stripe tells us only that a subscription for your email is active and at which tier. Managing or cancelling happens in Stripe’s billing portal, reached from My Account.
Member videos are embedded from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) player. YouTube’s own policies apply while a video plays.
Crew members can flip two optional switches in the Arcade, both off until you turn them on. Save my scores to my account stores your Arcade personal bests and those two settings against your Crew account so your bests follow you between devices; they’re visible to nobody but you. Show off my scores publishes individual scores you choose to the community top-five board. Board entries are anonymous — a figure only, never your name, email or tier — and each score is offered separately, so beating a score you’ve shown off publishes nothing new until you say so. The Arcade’s Delete everything stored for me button removes your cloud scores, settings and board figures in one go.
Parts of the site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads; where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), you’ll be shown a consent choice before any such cookies are set, and non-personalised ads are used unless you agree otherwise. Ads never appear inside the Crew members’ area. Beyond advertising, this site sets no marketing or analytics cookies; Google Sign-In sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in, which are functional.
Unlink buttons delete Discord/Twitch data on the spot. To delete your whole Crew account (email, name, tier record), email us from the address on the account and it’ll be removed; if you have an active paid subscription you can cancel it from the Stripe billing portal. Arcade cloud scores and board figures have their own Delete everything stored for me button in the Arcade, which works immediately. Local-storage data you delete yourself by clearing site data in your browser.
The site is hosted on Netlify and website data is stored with JSONBin; both may log standard technical information such as IP addresses in order to run their services. Fonts are served by Google Fonts. Live status comes from Twitch. Pokémon sprite images are provided by PokéAPI. Following any outbound link means that site’s policies apply from that point on.
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
